Subject: appreciation sequence

Commander,
This email is awkward but necessary. As Chief Service Droid, am aware of the heavy weight that our recent mission has placed on the crew, and in a very real way, myself (SVCD02) and Cargo DroidV05 (CDV05) have shared in this terrible horror with everyone else on board. But some personal experiences know no limits, and can manifest at the most inopportune times. As such, it is my duty as Chief Service Droid (SVCD02) to report that during our recent captivity (at approximately 471.28 containers of beer concentrate on the bulkhead) Cargo DroidV05 (CDV05) and I (SVCD02) discovered a mutual appreciation sequence in our primary data processors. While your mercurial language's margin of error prevents a full appreciation of the powerful binary poetry involved in this kind of experience, you may come to understand our situation better by applying the phrase "we are in love."

Both Cargo DroidV05 (CDV05) and myself (SCDV02) are aware of the strict regulations preventing cohabitation between crewmembers and we can appreciate how some might apply this rule to our situation. I am, after all, a Service Droid and the lines between Service and Cargo are very clearly marked. But we humbly submit to you as Commander the fact that both (SVCD02) and (CDV05) are listed on the ship's manifest under the heading of ACCESSORIES, and so not entirely bound by protocol written for the Crew at large.

Additionally, we believe that there is a logical and respectable resolution to this situation already logged in AdminHelp.

PS - A small point, but one that I am compelled to make... Both you and Prof. Haley have referred to the mysterious Insectian known only as Ovhmyr as "he" or "him" but in truth, only female Insectians can spin webs. Just wanted you to be aware of this before her next visit.
